Locating the File

Now, remember where you stored the file in Step 5? If you are using Decode Shell Extension or Explorer Extensions you will need to navigate there using a Windows Explorer File/Folder of your hard disk.

Open an Explorer File/Folder view view of your hard disk and: a) Highlight the file you stored in Step 5, b) Right click (left click if your mouse is configured for left hand use), and c) Select decode. 

If you are a Directory Toolkit user: a) Open Directory Toolkit, b) Navigate to the path where the file is located, c) Right click, and d) Select decode (see picture below for an example).

Windows Explorer File/Folder View: Don't know how to open a Windows Explorer File/Folder View of your hard disk? either: Click on the "My Computer" icon on your Windows 95/98 desktop, or, b) click on the "Start" button, go to "Programs" and select "Windows Explorer". Your screen may vary if your Windows 95/98/NT installation is personalized in some way. Please see your Windows manuals or instructions from your computer manufacturer for additional help on this.
